Life with Jake, Tessie and Casey 🙂

If you’re like me, your pets are part of your family. Our “Furr-Family” includes 2 dogs and 1 cat.

♥ Jake, aka Jakeman & Mr. Man, is a DMH cat born October 17, 2002 and adopted from the Oklahoma City Humane Society. Our little man is the elder statesman of the family.
♥ Tessie Dark Knight of Jasper, aka Stick Woman & Tessie Tood, is a purebred Miniature Schnauzer born March 30, 2011 in Dibble, OK. Her groomers at PetSmart in OKC called her Chunkey Monkey, but she’s solid . . . no fat on her.
♥ Casey Commander, aka Wild Man, is a purebred Golden Retriever born May 24, 2013 in Yukon, OK. Our moose only has 1 nickname so far.

Thank you for visiting my blog, and please email me at zacksdoghouse@hotmail.com if you would like to share any pet pictures or stories. As we say in Oklahoma & Texas, I really appreciate y’all.

Thanks for response. I especially like your tribute to Zack, although “I’m Still Here” made me tear up a bit. I have a wonderful Pomeranian who’s getting to be older, and I’m hoping he lasts several years longer. When he’s gone I don’t know what I’ll do. He’s so much a part of my life. I have a license plate frame on my car that reads “My best friend is my Pomeranian.” I intend to keep checking in on your blog. Thanks again. Alan

So do have dog food recipes that are safe and do you do a lot of research into what is and what isn’t safe:? Look forward to seeing what you add. here. We have two daschunds we adopted 4 months ago and want to give them the best.
