Grain-Free Peanut Butter Treats

2 1/2 c gluten-free flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 c natural peanut butter (*)
1 c water (**)
2 tbsp honey
1 egg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees (***).
Mix all ingredients together and roll into balls or drop by teaspoon on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. The dough will be sticky. Press each biscuit down slightly w/a fork. Bake 20 minutes and let cool. Makes about 2 dozen semi-soft treats.

* Peanut Butter & Co Smooth Operator (All Natural Creamy)
** I substituted SO DELICIOUS Coconut Milk (USDA Organic, Unsweetened, Soy & Dairy-Free).
*** I baked this batch at 325 degrees for 30 – 35 minutes. Then, I turned the oven off and let the treats cool down inside the oven. This makes them crunchy.

Basic Dog Biscuits
(This is my favorite recipe so far!)

2 1/2 c gluten-free flour
1 tsp salt
1 egg
1/2 c hot water (*)
+ Optional add-ins include bacon bits, flax seeds, beef or chicken broth, oats, pumpkin, shredded carrots, shredded cheese, sweet potatoes, unsweetened applesauce, etc.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees (**).
Mix all ingredients together and roll into balls or drop by teaspoon on a parchment-lined cookie sheet. The dough will be sticky. Press each biscuit down slightly w/a fork. Bake 30 minutes and let cool. Makes about 2 dozen semi-soft treats.

* I substituted SO DELICIOUS Coconut Milk (USDA Organic, Unsweetened, Soy & Dairy-Free).
** I baked the sweet potato batch at 325 degrees for 40 – 45 minutes. Then, I turned the oven off and let the treats cool down inside the oven. This makes them crunchy.

** I baked the banana & peanut butter batch at 200 degrees for 120 minutes. Then, I turned the oven off and let the treats cool down inside the oven. This is like dehydrating them in the oven, and it makes them last longer.
