Supplements: Good Buy or Impulsive Purchase

I don’t want to give Casey over-the-counter human allergy medicines anymore, nor do I want to go the Rx pet allergy medicine route either (like Atopica). So, I decided it’s past time for me to just concentrate on a holistic or natural approach to control his allergies. Here are some supplements that I have tried. Some have helped, and some were a waste of money.

I guess I’m looking for this miraculous cure-all. I think Herbsmith helped, but our Vet wanted me to use Benadryl & Claritin. Dermapaw works best w/the socks; that is, if I can keep them on Casey. I’m still in my 30-day period for trying Olewo & Azmira’s Aller’G Free. Casey has been on Omega 3’s, but I just switched to Vetoquinol’s AllerG-3 simply because our Vet sells it.

If anyone has a product that does wonders, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

Vetoquinol’s product has 2 different looks. I emailed them after having no luck trying to figure it out on my own. Vetoquinol recently changed the look of their Omega 3’s bottle design. Their product did not change at all . . . just the bottle design.

I think what we really need is a change of climate . . . hmm, the beach or the mountains. It would have to be West Coast, since that’s where most of our family & friends are. You know that Carrie Underworld song, “Blown Away?” It really is that windy in Oklahoma as I grab my box of Kleenex and sneeze for the hundredth time today!
